Sunday September 19, 2010 - 10:30 am A traditional Catholic polka mass celebration with all the songs and hymns preformed in the familiar polka style of music. Music by the Country Dutchman and the Catherine choir. The mass is held in the air conditioned comfort of the Gold building at the Ellis County Fairgrounds. All are welcome to attend – come early – seating fills up quickly.   The Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus (Bishop Cunningham Assembly) joined the polka mass celebration in 2005 and provided full honors. They processed in before the main procession and lined the aisle as the Celebrant and lay assistants came forward. We extend a sincere thanks to Maurice Haas and the fine men of the Knights of Columbus. Many other K of C members do a lot of “behind the scenes” work including parking cars, cleaning, and selling beer in a couple of our booths. The Knights are to be commended for taking time out of their weekends to join us in this very special event!
